Linde Reaches Landmark One-Millionth Production of Trucks in Aschaffenburg, Germany

Proving its corporate might once again in the material handling industry, Linde has delivered one-millionth vehicle to its long-time customer ColorobbiaEspaña S.A (one of the largest facilities in the world for the production of frits, pigments and other products for the ceramics and glass industry). Keeping it a low affair due to pandemic, the completion of the milestone vehicle was marked with minute-long indoor fireworks. 

On the arrival of the Linde’s latest generation diesel forklift, the Gonzalo Trilles de Castro, Managing Director of ColorobbiaEspaña S.A. concluded,” We have been relying on Linde brand forklifts for 24 years now and particularly appreciate the trucks’ user-friendliness and safety”. He stated that their lasting partnership with Linde is due to the philosophy the duo share on sustainability, innovation and technology. It laid the basis of long-term success, which is shared with the customers as a competitive advantage. 

Having started its journey 60 years back, Linde’s debutant vehicle Hubtrac back then was a masterstroke. It emerged as an excellent option to the then existing commercial vehicles that were difficult to operate due to defects like jerky clutch and gear shift.
